The ALCO-BALL-ICS showed up and were able to win both games to take the championship. In the first semifinal, they beat BALL BUSTIN’ 8-6.

In the second semifinal, number one seeded HANK’S CAME TOW’S beat the DISTRICT 7-2 to advance to the championship.

The championship proved to be an instant classic. Both team played ridiculously good defense. Inning after inning, hardly anyone reached second base. The ALCO-BALL-ICS, being the away team, was the first team to score and only scored once; but it was enough. They were able to hold HANK’S CAMEL TOW’S from scoring in the bottom of the 7th to win the game 1-0.
