Great day for basketball.
Trulia Remains Undefeated
TRULIA remains undefeated as they took down undefeated NINJA BALLERS. It was a pretty tight game throughout, but TRULIA pulled away and almost won by double digits. Kevin D was the player of the game.

For the first game of the night, LOS POLLOS HERMANOS took on TRIPLE, DOUBLE, NO ASSISTS. LPH was lead by Mark-the player of the game. LPH didn’t have much trouble as they won pretty easily 62-44. LPH improves to (3-1-1) on the season and currently sits in third place.

HARDWOOD HEROES played as a unit as they took down the YOTES. They got up early and kept the lead throughout most of the game. The win keeps them in touching distance of TRULIA at the top of the standings. The YOTES have had a disappointing season so far, as they are still searching for their first win.

PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE took down the DENVER HUSTLERS in late night action. It was a high scoring affair between two sub .500 teams. PW has moved into fifth place and the HUSTLERS are at the bottom. But next week they take on the YOTES, a win would move them up a slot.

Hustlers Don't Show
The DENVER HUSTLERS didn’t get enough players to field a team yesterday, so the YOTES took the victory. It probably would have been a pretty good game, since both teams had similar records. Now the YOTES have moved up a game and a half over the HUSTLERS.

The HARDWOOD HEROES are getting into midseason form with their impressive win over the NINJA BALLERS. Both teams had the same record going into the contest, but the HEROES won big. Now they have sole possession of second place-just waiting for TRULIA to mess up.

TRIPLE, DOUBLE, NO ASSISTST pulled out a squeaker over PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE. With almost identical records, it’s not too surprising that this game went down to the wire. Both teams will have to pick it up a little if they want to make a deep postseason run.

In a high scoring contest, TRULIA beat the strong LOS POLLOS HERMANOS 72-65. This was a championship caliber contest. Both teams will be looking to play each other again in three weeks for the title. Next week TRULIA will have their hands full as they take on HARDWOOD HEROES.

There Is No I In TEAM
The top two teams squared off to start the night. Undefeated TRULIA went up against the HARDWOOD HEROES. The HEROES have been on a roll, playing together like the NBA Spurs. Their one loss on the season came against TRIPLE, DOUBLE, NO ASSISTS by one point earlier in the season. Both teams have been working their way up to this position throughout the whole year. It was a back and forth game, but TRULIA was outmatched. HEROES took the lead and wouldn’t relinquish it. With the win, the HEROES are the regular season champions! But this is far from over, the playoffs are what count-and we can bet the farm that TRULIA will be back.

DENVER HUSTLERS showed up today but lost to TRIPLE, DOUBLE, NO ASSISTS by fourteen. It’s been a disappointing season for the HUSTLERS as they finish the regular season winless. Kobe was the player of the game with precision shooting and superb passing. Both teams will have to make adjustments if they want to take the trophy home.

Josh led the LOS POLLOS HERMANOS over PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE. It was a high scoring game, but LPH had too many weapons and PW couldn’t react. The win has given LPH the third seed heading into the playoffs, while PW is sixth.

The YOTES played one of their best games of the season against the NINJA BALLERS. The NINJAS are the fourth ranked team, and the YOTES are seventh. The YOTES needed to win if they were going to move up in the standings, but with the loss, they stay where they are. The NINJAS are another team that has a legitimate shot at vying for the championship. It just takes three great games, which team is going to have them?

PLAYOFFS View Bracket
Hard Wood and Trulia Advance
The first round of playoffs is over. Number one seeded HARD WOOD HEROES didn’t lose a step; they took down the DENVER HUSTLERS 58-27. This is the kind of game a top seeded team likes to start with. Next week they will need to reserve some energy to play in the semis and the finals.

TRULIA, the two seed, took care of the YOTES. This game was also pretty one-sided. TRULIA is looking to get back at the HARD WOOD HEROES after their late season loss to them. With their win, they are one step closer.

PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE pulled out the upset of the night, defeated perennial powerhouse LOS POLLOS HERMANOS. WORLDWIDE was the sixth seed, but that didn’t seem to bother them. They played some amazing ball to win 49-32. They will need to stay hot in order to pull off the upset next week against TRULIA.

The other upset of the night came from TRIPLE DOUBLE NO ASSISTS. This was the 4/5 matchup, so to describe this game as an upset is kind of a stretch. This was the only close game of the night, and it was close throughout. The NINJA BALLERS couldn’t keep pace, so they ended up falling 47-40. TDNA will have their hands full going up against the HARDWOOD HEROES next week.

Trulia vs Hardwood Heroes
It was championship night at the Fieldhouse last night. The first semifinal game was between TRIPLE DOUBLE, NO ASSISTS and number one ranked HARDWOOD HEROES. Doug came to play, as he led his team to victory with a 53-44 score. The win would advance them to the championship.

In the other semifinal, PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE would fall to number two ranked TRULIA 76-59. Kevin D led the way for TRULIA, dropping in shots left and right.

This championship was bound to be a good one. In the regular season, HARDWOOD HEROES defeated TRULIA in the one head-to-head matchup that they had, winning 50-40. It was the only loss on the season for TRULIA. Even though TRULIA had to play back-to-back, it didn’t really bother them. Eric T led the way, giving TRULIA a good lead. They were able to hold on and win 67-59 in a high scoring game.

Congratulations to TRULIA for taking home the hardware. It was a great season; summer league is right around the corner!
