Sports Monster is excited to announce that Volo has acquired the Denver market!

Starting this Fall, all Sports Monster players will need to register through Volo's website (there will be no more Sport Monster leagues offered moving forward:

Volo will still offer competitive Soccer at Dick's Sporting Goods Park and competitive Basketball at Denver University.

All of your favorite sports are also offered including Flag Football, Kickball, Softball, Volleyball, and more!

HISYM Snaps Losing Streak
HOW I SET YOUR MOTHER awakens from the grave to sweep YOU GOT SERVED. They were desperate for a win and now they got it. WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROTTERS is now on a roll with two wins in a row and a tie. GOT SPIKED returned to glory with a 3-1 victory over SHE WANTS TO BUMP.

Got Spiked Wins Big Game
YOU GOT SERVED and SHE WANTS TO BUMP tied 2-2. SERVED is still looking for their first win of the season. The tie brings their record to (0-4-2). SHEWB is now a perfect .500 at (2-2-2).

In the second game, it was the number one team GOT SPIKED beating the number two team HIT IT HARD 3-1. GOT SPIKED definitely looks like the top dog, and this win solidifies that statement. These two teams will have a good chance of facing each other in the championship.

In the last game, it was HOW I SET YOUR MOTHER defeating WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROTTERS. Both teams came into the match with similar records. After the match, HISYM rose to 4th place and WTF sits in 5th.

Make sure to check out the Icehouse Tavern for after game drinks and eats Sports Monster specials. This is a cool pub with a nice, normal pub vibe that just happens to be located a block from Coors Field. The Icehouse staff gives you that proper balance of positivity and attention to feel connected when you stroll in for drinks, dinner, or both. On game days, they ramp-up staff with fast & smart bartenders who serve $2 Coors Lights & Bud Light drafts! Awesome right?

Hurry up and register for the upcoming Sports Monster fall tournaments. Rainier Beer Whiffleball Tournament is October 11th and the Zombie Kickball Tournament is October 25th.

Got Spiked Loses
GOT SPIKED got spiked on Thursday. GOT SPIKED came into the game with their only loss being a forfeit, but that didn’t scare WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROTTERS. WTF swept them to take the hard match-making it look easy. All of the games were fairly close, but that doesn’t really matter. GOT SPIKED finished the regular season in first place with a (5-2) record. WTF finished in third.

In the second match, HOW I SET YOUR MOTHER swept HIT IT HARD. HISYM finished the regular season in second place with a (3-2-2) record. HIT IT HARD finished in fifth with a perfect .500 record of (3-3-1). In the last match of the day, YOU GOT SERVED and SHE WANTS TO BUMP finished in a tie.

Playoffs will be starting next week. Matches will be best of five, with games going to 11-cap at 13.

Hurry up and register for the Zombie Kickball Tournament on October 25, 2015 at Barnum Park. There will be prizes for the best costumes as well as a pig roast at the Classic Tavern after the game.

Got Spiked Spiked It Home
What a way to finish off the season, under the lights! How I Set Your Mother didn’t show up, so they ended up forfeiting to You Got Served.

You Got Served and She Wants to Bump formed an All-Star team to try to take down Got Spiked. It didn’t work though, Got Spiked ended up winning the match 3-1 and taking home the championship.

Both teams celebrated and took advantage of the lighted night for the next two hours! Thanks for playing! Please keep checking our website for indoor leagues!
