It was a blazing day to start the season. At least half of the court was in the shade. SUMMER LOVIN’ could not get enough registered team members to show up, so they ended up forfeiting to PRACTICE SAFE SETS.

In the second game, TERRY would beat the DIVIDED HOUSE TEAM in straight sets. The first three games were 15-5, 15-2, and 15-5. In game number four, the DIVIDED HOUSE TEAM came storming back and almost won the last game; they lost 15-13.

The Divided House Dream Team forfeited to Summer Luvin'.
Practice Safe Sets Wins Again
PRACTICE SAFE SETS added another notch to their belt, defeated TERRY 3-1. TERRY fought back in the 4th game to win, preventing the sweep. The win has moved SAFE SETS to a (2-0) record.

In the other game, the DIVIDED HOUSE DREAM TEAM didn’t show up, so SUMMER LOVIN’ took the victory.

The LATE BLOOMERS made their debut against SUMMER LOVIN.’ The first two games, they were pretty rusty, losing both games. But they managed to win the third game and almost won the fourth game that would have tied the match. Instead, they lost 3-1.

Summer Luvin' forfeited to Practice Safe Sets.
Dream Team Gets Swept
Not many teams showed up for the 5th of July volleyball extravaganza. PRACTICE SAFE SETS, who have taken the top spot on the standings, showed for both of their games. SUMMER LOVIN’ did not show-giving the PSS the victory.

The LATE BLOOMERS and TERRY didn’t show up, so they both received a tie.

For the last game, PRACTICE SAFE SETS took on the DIVIDED HOUSE DREAM TEAM. The game was well played, with both teams having impressive volleys. The DREAM TEAM almost took game two, but fell 17-16. SAFE SETS would win the next two games, completing the sweep. PSS is now (4-0) on the season. The DREAM TEAM has dropped to (0-3).

Practice Safe Sets Keeps Winning
PRACTICE SAFE SETS continued their dominance with a four game sweep over the LATE BLOOMERS. The LATE BLOOMERS were close in the last three games, but couldn’t quite pull off a win for any of the games. SAFE SETS is now (5-0). The LATE BLOOMERS are (0-2-1).

The DIVIDED HOUSE DREAM TEAM forfeited to SUMMER LOVIN’. SUMMER LOVIN’ is now (3-2) on the season and DIVIDED HOUSE is (0-4).

Better Late than Never
The DIVIDED HOUSE TEAM and SUMMER LOVIN both failed to field enough players for a team, so they received a tie.

In the other game, it was the LATE BLOOMERS coming together and upsetting PRACTICE SAFE SETS. SAFE SETS have been dominating teams all season, but not today. The BLOOMERS won the first three games to take the match. The fourth game was the best game of the match, and it was the SETS winning 15-13-preventing the sweep. It was the BLOOMERS first win of the season, but they look like they are a team to beat now!

Another disappointing day for attendance. PRACTICE SAFE SETS was the only team to show up. They took the win via forfeit. Hopefully next week we’ll get more participation!

Summer Lovin' Wins Wild One
SUMMER LOVIN showed up to play. They took down the number one PRACTICE SAFE SETS in three games. PRACTICE SAFE SETS won the last game 17-15, but were not happy with their overall performance. They still finished the season with a (6-2) record. They were the only team to not have a forfeit.

The other game was not played because neither team showed up. The LATE BLOOMERS have forfeited two games in a row.
